Abel Jaime Fernandez, 57 years of age went to be with the Lord on March 26,2020 at his home in Los Fresnos, Texas. Abel was born on July 19, 1962 in San Benito, Texas to Arnoldo and Apolinar Fernandez. Jaime brought laughter and joy to all who knew him. He was commonly known as a gentle giant. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Jaime truly loved the outdoors but most of all he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Left behind to cherish his memory is his life companion, Linda Diaz; his father, Arnoldo Fernandez;1 Sister, Lynn Adrian; 2 Brothers, Mike (Victoria) Fernandez, Danny (Alejandra) Fernandez; 1 Son, Abel Jaime, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Visitation will begin Sunday, March 29 from 2- 9 pm with a rosary at 7 pm. Visitation will resume at 8 am at Angel Lucy’s Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Monday March 30, 2020 at Angel Lucy’s Funeral Home in Los Fresnos, Texas with a with mass to be conducted at 11 am at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Los Fresnos, Texas.
