Alfred C. “Freddie” Serna, Jr. age 49 of Houston, Texas and formerly of Port Lavaca, Texas passed away Thursday, July 2, 2020. He was born February 21, 1971 in Victoria, Texas to Alfredo D. Serna and
Eluteria “Terry” Serna of Houston, Texas and formerly of Port Lavaca, Texas.
He is survived by his Parents, Alfredo D. and Eluteria “Terry” Serna
of Houston; Sister, Rebecca Hodgins of Florida; Brother, Roy Serna of Humble; Nephews, Randy Serna, Roy Serna, and Ryan Serna all of Humble; Niece, Brittany Hodgins of Florida. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will begin on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 from 5pm – 9pm with a Rosary to be recited at 7pm at Angel Lucy’s Funeral Home, 827 W. Austin St. in Port Lavaca. Visitation will resume on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at 9am with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10am with Father Tommy Chen to officiate at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church. Burial to follow to Port Lavaca Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be George Panza, Jose Lugo, Juan Perez, Randy Serna, Andy Garza and Larry Garza.
Honorary Pallbearers are Roy Serna, Jr and Ryan Serna.
