Marina Cadena, age 47, of Texas City, Texas and formerly of Port Lavaca, Texas passed away Sunday, June 28, 2020. She was born March 14, 1973 in Port Lavaca, Texas to the late Manuel R. Ortiz, Sr. and Mary Lou Ortiz of Port Lavaca, Texas.
She is survived by her Husband, Ines Cadena of Texas City; Mother, Mary Lou Ortiz of Port Lavaca; Sister, Dolores Balboa of Victoria; Brothers, Manuel Ortiz Jr of Port Lavaca and Otis Ortiz of Victoria. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her Father, Manuel R. Ortiz, Sr.
Visitation will begin Tuesday, June 30, 2020 from 5pm – 9pm at Angel Lucy’s Funeral Home in Port Lavaca. A Rosary will be recited at 7pm at the funeral home. Visitation will continue Wednesday, July 1, 2020 from 9am – 12pm at Angel Lucy’s Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1pm at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Port Lavaca. Burial to be at a later date.
