Rosendo Valdez Cerda,70 years of age went to be with the Lord on Saturday June 22, 2019. Mr. Cerda was born on August 24, 1948 to Rafael and Agustina Valdez in Matamoros, Mexico.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his loving wife; Rosa Maria Cerda; 2 daughters; Bertha Alicia Cerda, Rosa Elisa Cerda; 2 sons, Juan Gabriel Cerda, Javier Cerda; 6 sisters; Rosa Gallegos, Olga Tovar, Maria Hernandez, Martha Quintero, Linda Quintero, Guadalupe Rocha; 3 brothers; Modesto, Alberto, Refugio, and Juan Cerda. Preceded in death, 1 brother; Rafael Cerda and 1 sister, Lily Cerda.
Visitation for Mr. Rosendo Valdez Cerda will begin Monday June 24th 2019 at 3-9 pm with a rosary at 7pm. Visitation will resume at 8am on Tuesday, June 25th, 2019 with a service at 2pm at St Cecelia Catholic Church in Los Fresnos, Tx. with interment to follow at Los Cuates Cemetery.
